Description
The museum is specialized in keeping and presenting
rare manuscripts and books in addition to a collection of different
coins. The museum has obtained
original manuscripts estimated to be 300 in number, in addition to 12,000
microfilmed photos of manuscripts besides 14,000 manuscript tombstones and
tools used in writing.
There are about 10,000 rare books besides 13,000 on
microfilms. The museum includes
a manuscript of the Holy Book that goes back to the Third Hijra Century. It is a Kufi Holy Book written on
