Location
The park lies in Olaya Quarter North East of King Fahad
Library on Olaya Street. It covers
an area of 221,000 square-meters and was opened in 1410H.
Tree Planting
The location was having palms which were preserved in
addition to ornament and shady trees.
Water Pools
There is
artificial pool that meanders from East to West. The banks of the pool are built with stone. There is a waterfall flowing in the
pool opposite to the main gate.
There are three fountains and a fourth one on the Southern side.

Ditch

Pass Ways
There are wide pass ways paved with sand bricks in
bright attractive colors. These
pass ways enable visitors to walk through the park and enjoy the scenery.
Sitting Areas
Sitting areas are available for visitors. These areas are shaded by thick
branch trees. Some seats are
distributed along pass ways and family sitting places. Sitting areas are surrounded by
fences and the floors are of sand bricks in circular shapes. There are also sitting areas around
the fountains and green areas.
Kids Games
Kids games are distributed over six sites three of them
on the Northern side, two on the Southern side and one with electrical games
in the South.
Clock Tower
It is one of the important landmarks in the park. It is a six meters highconcrete tower with four clocks on
top that could be seen by visitors from anywhere.

Recreation Pass way
|
Fence and Gate
The park is surrounded by iron fence and a plant fence
for the purpose of inside beautification and screening. There are two main gates, one for
visitor’s entry and the other for exit.
There is a gate between the park and the library in addition to a
small gate for services. There
is a signboard as well as coin telephones at the gate in addition to a
signboard showing different locations of the park.
Service Buildings
There is a ticket room at the main gate. The administration building lies on
the North Eastern side together with a guard building & storehouse. There is a service lobby for ladies
on the Northern side and one for the men on the Southern side. There is a buffet for light meals,
another for drinks, and one for gifts.
Auto Parking Areas
There
are auto-waiting zones in front of the park gate along Olaya road that
accommodates150 vehicles.
