Saudi Arabian Airlines in Riyadh has achieved great
leap at the level of integral services according to international standard
during the last years. The Saudi Airlines plays a positive role in serving
the public by providing the service to passengers through its modern planes
which connect Riyadh to different parts of the Kingdom as well as outside
world. From another prospective, the Saudi Airlines contribute greatly in
developing the national economy in addition to consolidating the relation of
Saudi Arabia with all countries over the world. The capacity of Saudi
Airlines operation in Riyadh alone equals the total operation to any company

In 1987, Saudi Airlines started horizon class on board

searching the luggage. Now the number of traveling agencies which provide the
service to public via Saudi Airlines has reached 95. Out of this number 76
are general agents, 19 agents are for international air transport association
(IATA) in addition to 23 local agents. 56 agencies were furnished with latest
automated reservation equipment as well as ticket automated systems. In
addition to these agencies, there are twelve general agencies for shipment,
80 agencies belong to international air transport association (IATA) in
addition to 9 domestic agencies. Now Saudi Airlines possesses three head
offices at Riyadh Air-base area, King Khalid International Airport for
issuing the tickets in addition to 21 subsidiary offices at different sites
at governmental centers, companies, and corporations in Riyadh-city. Around
170 employees are working at these offices for providing the best services
for passengers such as issuing the tickets in addition to boarding cards.
Saudi Airlines is deemed among the first companies in
the world that applied the state of art regarding the automated systems used
in searching the luggage which help in disposal of the burden of the
traditional storing of luggage and documents. Modern technology contributes
greatly in storing data in computers and saving valuable time that gets lost
in keeping the papers and documents. By virtue of modern technology all
services regarding air cargo are computerized to assure best service for the
public. In addition, Saudi supplies prepare 11000 meals daily in Riyadh
station. This production covers 88% of Saudi Airlines requirement.
