Al-Shabab
Athletic team played his first match against railway team in 1372H in which
Shabab won 7-0. In 1375H Shabab played his second match against the military
college team under the Royal custody for the first time. In that match Shabab
won 2-1 and won the cup. The first match between Al-Shabab and Ahli (the
present Riyadh team) ended 2-1 in favor of Al-Ahli. But Shabab won the second
match. Soon after that Shabab club started athletic trip to Dhahran, the
first of its type in the history of the athletic clubs in the central area.
In Dhahran the team played two matches: the first was against the railway
team in which it won the cup and the second match was against Etifaq team
which was ended in favor of Al-Shabab as a result of that match it won Dammam
municipality cup.

Shabab club
has achieved 16 championships along its history which exceeds 53 years. We
can review these championships as follows:

Region tournament championship in 1380H.
· First Class
tournament championship in 1398H.
· Saudi
Football Federation Cup in 1409H.
· The Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques tournament championship Cup in 1411H.
· Gulf Clubs
Cup in 1413H.
· The cup of
tournament champions Arabian clubs in 1413H.
· Arabian elite
(super) cup in 1416H.
· Crown Prince
Cup in 1416H.
· The cup of
tournament champions Arabian clubs in 1420H.
· Prince Fahad
cup for Palestine’s martyrs.
The Club Stars
Shabab sport club is deemed as one of the major pillars
of our national team because it
contains a group of great players in the history of football championship. We
can mention as an example but not confined to Abdulrahman bin Saeed, Mubark Abdul
Kareim, Muhammed Al-Maghnam (the rocket), Ebraheim Tahsein, Khaled Al-Mejal,
Fahad Al-Muhalhal, Saeed Al-Ewairan, Fouad Anwar, Soud Al-Saar, Abdullah Al-
Shehan and Marzuog Al-Etaibi.
