Evidences of the
Prophethood of Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him) are plenty. They
can be divided into two major areas. One is the evidence from religions
previous to the birth of Muhammed (peace be upon him), which foretold of a
mighty messenger to come. Some of the examples are taken from the present
Bible.
The other evidences are
from incidents during the life of Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings be
upon him), which clearly authenticate his selection to the mission by Allah
the Almighty. They are numerous and are shown under different headings.
