The average per capital income has
remarkably increased over the years.
In the year 1407H (1987) per capital income has increased up from
SR45,000 up to SR53,000. In 1411H the income reached about SR56,000. According
to survey performed by international consultant company in 2000, the annual
average income of 26% of the families living in Riyadh increased above
SR142,500 (38,000 dollars).
The same study estimated the average income
of about 1.23 million of the total population of Riyadh around SR293,000
(73,000 dollars) annually. The
total of their expenditure were estimated SR 187,000 (49,500 dollars).
