The Saudi residents of Riyadh-city are highly
educated. All the residents
with ages ranging from 6 to 19 year are regularly going to school and 50%
of the Saudis between 20 to 24 studying in higher educational institutes
particularly at the universities.
More than 25% of the qualified Saudis who occupied high rank
positions are from 25 to 40 year of age. The number of Riyadh residents who has obtained
university degrees or intermediate college degrees have reached 17% in
1999.
In 1421H, the higher education
graduates exceeded 11,000 from both genders. This indicates a remarkable increase in higher education
among the Saudis living in Riyadh-city. According to statistics, the foreign employment working
at technical field in Riyadh are highly qualified for performing their job.
