Masmak
Museum was inaugurated on 13 Maharam 1416H. ADA has rehabilitated the museum
to be as a museum showing unification of the Kingdom by King Abdulaziz, may
Allah bless his soul. Masmak Museum is consisting of seven main sections:
· Riyadh Recapture
· Masmak Castle
· Unification of the Kingdom
· Riyadh: Past and Present
· Agriculture and Water
· King Abdulaziz Photo Chronology
· Some of King Abdulaziz Achievement
Science Oasis
Science Oasis has been built
in the Embassies Quarter as a model museum for sciences and to contribute for
the enrichment of cultural life in Riyadh-city and raise the cultural level
of citizens.
The items in the Oasis are
presented in a manner to encourage visitor’s interactive responses and to
help them acquire knowledge through personal experience. The items are selected to indicate
the important role of Arab and Muslim scholars in different sciences and
aspects of human knowledge. The
Science Oasis participates in exhibitions and international conferences
concerned with sciences space and astronomy. Science Oasis issues an annual
poster dealing with different issues and a monthly map, distributed to
visitors of Riyadh sky showing stars and planets.

ADA
in its endeavor to increase citizen’s awareness of the importance of cultural
life and to increase their experiences in this field gives great concern for
establishing specialized cultural and social exhibitions.
ADA organizes these
activities within a permanent fair for specialized exhibitions aiming to combine
the Authority’s efforts with the efforts of the citizens of Riyadh towards
prosperous cultural future.
